Prairie Dogs

There were holes in the ground all over the Tunnel Mountain Village I campground at Banff, Alberta, Canada. We had no idea what they were until we started seeing beautiful prairie dogs all over the place. They are so cute that we posted a bunch of the photos in an album. These are GLORIOUS creatures, every single one of them. (Oddly enough, they look vaguely familiar to me. I think I may know a few of them!!!!) What an experience to have witnessed them going about their lives in the wild while you were there. You captured a few of them in some wonderful poses. They are such beautiful, intelligent animals.
