Today we're off to get our British Columbia health insurance. It will cost $96 a month for the two of us. It's $108 for a family of three or more. The government subsidizes that premium for families who can't afford that amount.
Boy, what we could do in the United States if we didn't spend so much money killing people in other countries!
We're going to get a social insurance number, too. Unfortunately, we have to wait until our permanent residence cards arrive in six weeks before Luis can get a driver's license.

Health insurance is a bargain, to say the least! Hey, you guys wouldn't be wanting to adopt some "adult" children from the States, would you? I promise not to take up too much room.......
Me too, me too! I will share with that rodent worshiper if necessary. Pet insurance costs more than that in the US.
